Apple official special event on October 13
The iPhone 12 series is expected to be unveiled at the event comprising three models - 12, 12 Pro and Pro Max.
Apple has made it official: Its next special event will be on October 13, and the new iPhones are expected.
The tech giant on Tuesday sent out invites to the media, with their usual minimalistic - but telling - message.
The event will be streamed on Apple's website at 1PM eastern time next Tuesday. Can download the reminder calendar too from the Apple website.
"Hi, Speed," was the message splashed on the invite - which, for all intents and purposes, alludes to the expected introduction of a 5G iPhone.
The iPhone 12 series is expected to be unveiled at the event comprising three models - 12, 12 Pro and Pro Max. Alongside that, reports have surfaced that an 'iPhone mini' will also be launched.
Apple does not comment on rumors or speculation.
The company was forced to postpone its usual September iPhone unveil due to the global coronavirus pandemic that has upended supply chains.
But in the lead-up, Apple has performed remarkably well: It reported blowout results in its last financial quarter thanks to its services segment. That led to its market capitalization hitting the $2 trillion mark.
